Strong winds and stormy weather are set to batter the capital this week.
An area of low pressure will cause winds to pick up during rush hour on Monday morning with a spokesperson for the Met Office saying: “Some delays to travel are likely, with some journeys taking longer than usual.
“Delays are likely for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges. Some short term loss of power is also possible.”
Heavy showers are expected throughout Monday and overnight into Tuesday.
A second area of low pressure coming in from the Atlantic is expected to bring more strong winds on Tuesday night, lasting into Wednesday morning.
Highest temperatures on Monday and Tuesday will reach 18C.
