A TEENAGE suspect was Tasered and bitten by a police dog this morning after reports of a group armed with guns.

Police were initially called to reports of a disturbance in Wells Park Road, Sydenham, at 12.38am this morning.

Officers found no trace, but were called back at 2.01am where they were joined by police from the Met's firearms unit.

A group were seen by Lewisham officers running across Longton Avenue.

Police then found two loaded guns in the front gardens of homes in Longton Grove.

One boy was found hiding in the bushes of a front garden where he was bitten by a police dog and Tasered.

He was taken to hospital to receive treatment but is now in custody at a south London police station.

Oh my oh my! funny. I use that word alot, but now ive written it, it looks weird. Have i spelt it right?Sadly I can't think of humourous word to say over this bad bit of reporting.

In my opinion, the use of Tasers in this case is outrageous! These young men need understanding and counselling, but on the other hand, if in doubt, why not use a 9mm Glock!

The dog definately won the day, they should have more Police dogs to deal with these unruly louts willing to run around carrying guns!!!
