ONE of the teenagers who was injured in a stolen motorbike crash has died overnight.

The 17-year-old, who has been named locally as Dean Pennial, was critically injured when the bike he was riding crashed into a hedge then a wall in Orpington.

He was taken to Kings College Hospital by ambulance after the incident which happened at around 3.40am yesterday morning (April 30).

His life support machine was switched off at around 9pm.

The other teenager who was on the bike is said to be stable in hospital and his injuries are not life threatening.

The motorbike had been stolen in a burglary committed at an address in Orpington in the early hours of yesterday morning.
