A Deptford man has been arrested following a fight outside a barber shop which saw an innocent woman get shot in the leg.
Police say the fight broke out in Rotherhithe on May 8 at 3pm between two men - one armed with a gun and the other with a broom.
During the clash a woman, 38, was blasted in the leg and taken to hospital.
Last night (June 17), at around 11.20pm, police arrested a 27-year old man from Deptford on suspicion of attempted murder and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
He was found in possession of £6,000, which was seized, and a search of his home uncovered a further £25,000, a large quantity of crack cocaine and drug-making equipment.
He remains in custody at a south London police station.
