A large cannabis factory has been dismantled by police in Lewisham.
Officers recovered large amounts of cannabis from an address in Wellmeadow Road.
Inside the property, officers found cannabis plants, £1,600 in cash, a substance believed to be crystal meth, a can of CS gas and packaged cannabis ready to be sold.
Two rooms had been set up to produce cannabis with a large extractor device in the loft to conceal the smell.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis, possessing class A drugs, possessing a prohibited weapon and abstracting electricity.
He has been bailed to return to a south London police station in June.
Lewisham police's PC Katherine Briggs said: "We have recovered a significant amount of cannabis which would have been sold on the streets of the borough, as well as dismantling a factory and making a dent in the pockets of local criminals.”
