A Catford French bistro where punters are alleged to have fought, had sex and defecated on the floor outside has finally lost its licence.

Le Bourgeois at Eros House in Brownhill Road survived a previous licensing hearing back in 2013, despite a string of complaints including basement romps, strippers and a gun being fired.

But the venue has now had its licence revoked completely following what police would only call "an incident of disorder outside which highlighted the apparent lack of control or management responsibility".

A Lewisham Council licensing committee made the decision during a hearing held behind closed doors.

At the same meeting, also held in secret, the Catford Ram pub had a series of conditions added to its licence.

It means the boozer can now reopen following a drugs raid there in February.
