A woman was raped by a knife-wielding man whilst walking along a street in Lee.
A 29-year-old woman was walking down Ashwater Road around 2.45am yesterday (March 8) when she was attacked.
The suspect threatened her with a large kitchen knife before raping her, police say.
After this he fled in the direction of Baring Road.
The suspect is described as black, 5ft 10in, wearing a blue hooded top and had a blue bandana covering his face.
Detectives from the Sexual Offences Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are investigating the incident.
