A Lewisham youth has been charged in connection with an acid attack which left a dad-of-two with chemical burns to his hands face and arms.
Aarron Isaac, 19, of Elverson Road, Lewisham, has been charged with throwing a corrosive liquid with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and wounding with intent.
The charges relate to an incident in Witham, Essex, on August 8 last year.
Wayne Ingold was left with life-changing chemical burns after the harmful liquid was thrown at him as he was collecting his post from a communal area in a block of flats.
Isaac joins a 15-year-old boy from Mitcham, who cannot be named for legal reasons, who has already been charged with throwing a corrosive fluid with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was remanded in court custody to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court tomorrow (February 25).
