A drug dealer has been jailed for 32 months after police seized crack cocaine and heroin from his home.
Batare Evwierhoma, 21, of Birkhall Road in Catford was given a three years and eight months sentence after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs on Tuesday (January 6) at Woolwich Crown Court, Officers from Lewisham's Borough Tasking Team (BTT) found several wraps and bags of crack cocaine and heroin in Evwierhoma's home as well as in his car.
Sergeant Karl Parish of Lewisham's BTT, who led the operation, said: "Drug dealers cause an awful lot of harm to our communities and we will take action to target those using or supplying drugs in Lewisham.
"I would urge any local residents that suspect drugs are being sold or used in their area to get in touch with us."
Evwierhoma's home address was raided on December 18 last year after obtaining a drugs warrant and Evwierhoma was arrested at the scene.
