A Thamesmead man arrested by anti-terror police has been bailed until February, police say.
The 20-year-old was arrested in Thamesmead on December 15 on suspicion of preparing an act of terrorism.
His arrest was made under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act by officers from the Met's Counter Terrorism Command.
It is understood he was suspected of wanting to travel abroad for terrorism and the arrest was not due to any potential attack in the UK.
The man is due to answer bail on February 10.
