Two Downham men have been charged after police turned up to a reported stabbing on Boxing Day and were allegedly attacked with bricks.
Police were called to Shroffold Road in Downham at 3.49am on December 26 following reports of stabbing inside a house.
It is claimed that, when police tried to gain entry, they had bricks and other items thrown at them.
A 15-year-old boy who suffered a puncture wound was taken to hospital and later discharged himself.
Following the incident, builder Jack Newnham, 20, of Shroffold Road, has been charged with obstructing police.
Unemployed Ben Brady, 18, also of Shroffold Road, has been charged with obstructing police and a public order offence.
Both men will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on January 20.
A third man, aged 20, has been released without charge.
