Kent singer Billy Nutt has appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a four-year-old boy in Northfleet.
Under his full name William Nutt, he is accused of assaulting a boy under the age of 13 by touching on March 11 this year.
Nutt, aged 55, who runs the Providence Inn in Sandgate, Folkestone, where he lives, appeared at Maidstone Crown Court yesterday (October 10).
Wearing a black suit, dark shirt and tie and glasses, he spoke only to confirm his name.
Judge Martin Joy adjourned proceedings and granted Nutt conditional bail to return for a plea and case management hearing on January 7.
