A 15-year-old girl was grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted in an Eltham park, police say.
The attack happened between 7.30pm and 8pm on August 31 as the teen walked through the dirt track in the wooded area of Eltham Park North.
Police say the attacker was white, in his 40s, with wrinkles around his eyes and was wearing blue jeans. It is believed that he may have been smoking cannabis.
Detective Constable Rebecca Colley from Greenwich Police’s CID said: "If anyone witnessed this incident, saw a male matching this description behaving suspiciously in the area at the time, or indeed has seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area recently, please contact the CID."
