Police want to trace this man after a CCTV camera at Deptford station was deliberately damaged with a lighter.
The incident happened in a station lift at around 8.45pm on July 11.
PC Rachel Saunders from British Transport Police explained: "A youth entered the lift on the platform 2 side of the station and deliberately burnt the lens of the camera with a lighter.
"He got out of the lift, but returned shortly after and repeated the offence, leaving the camera badly-damaged."
As part of their investigation, officers are issuing an image of a youth they want to speak to in relation to the incident.
PC Saunders added: "Not only did the person responsible compromise the public’s safety by putting a CCTV camera out of action, they could also have started a fire in the lift."
