A 20-YEAR-OLD woman from Gravesend has been charged with drink driving after crashing into a wall on the A227 near Meopham.
Police were called to South Street in Culverstone Green to reports of a smash involving a black Peugout 206 Zest at shortly after 12.30am on Sunday. (February 17)
The driver, Larah Carter, of Hollybush Road, Gravesend, was breathalysed at the scene, near the junction with Willow Walk, and arrested.
She has since been charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol above legal limit and bailed to appear at Dartford Magistrates’ Court on March 25.
The crash happened just a quarter of a mile from where a 4x4 ploughed into a house on the corner of Whitepost Lane, Culverstone Green, as reported in this week’s News Shopper.
