A 24-YEAR-OLD woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of Kevin McKinley in Dartford.
Michaela Sargeant, of Overy Street, appeared in courtroom two at Maidstone Crown Court this afternoon charged with the murder of the 32-year-old.
She was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on April 19 for a plea and case management hearing.
A provisional trial date has also been set for August 5.
Her partner Lewis Wickenden, 25, of the same address, has been charged with possessing a firearm, possession of ammunition and assisting an offender.
Wickenden is due to appear at Medway Magistrates Court on Friday for a committal hearing, when his case is expected to be committed to Maidstone Crown Court.
Emergency services were called to Overy Street at shortly before 8pm on Tuesday where they found Mc McKinley suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim had gone into cardiac arrest and was treated by ambulance staff at the scene before being taken to Darent Valley Hospital where he died of his injuries.
