Lewisham High Street: Two men charged with murder of Thierry Christian-Gnanakumar

TWO men have been charged with the murder of Thierry Christian-Gnanakumar in Lewisham.

The 22-year-old died from serious injuries to his head and face in the early hours of November 11 after police were called at 9.20pm on November 10 to Lewisham High Street.

Jayruban Vivekananthan, 26, of Nightingale Heights, Woolwich, and Pirunthan Kunaratatnam, 23, were charged yesterday and will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court via video link today.

A third man, Kohulan Podiappuhamey, 24, of Woodyates Road, Lee, was charged with murder on November 16 and remains in custody.

A post-mortem examination took place on November 11 at Greenwich Mortuary and gave cause of death as severe blunt force trauma to the head and face.
