We first met over the bar of the Rat & Parrot, and soon became good friends. Myself and Clare will really miss you. Can't believe you were just in the wrong place, at the wrong time, and now you're gone. Such a cruel cruel world. I'll see you soon, one last time, then the angels can look after you for an eternity. Goodnight sweetheart x x x

Such a sad thing to happen, especially to someone as beautiful as you. I only knew you for a few months when we worked together at the rat and parrot, but I have so many good memories. You really were the life and soul of the party. Love you sweetie x x x

Emily has been my best friend for so many years. I have so many happy memories of her and we had so many plans for the future together.

I just feel so lost and lonely without her now. She was always there to hold my hand when times were tough, now she's an angel somewhere looking after us all ****

Tragic accident, i wish peace for Emily's family. An unfortunate example of the fragility of life.

But why the comments about how pretty Emily was? Does this make her life more precious than others not so? All life is unique and equally valid.

Of course Beauty is skin deep but when someone so young is taken so tradgicly, friends and family are going to focus on all the things that made Emily so memorable and special, and there is no denying she was a lovely looking girl. I feel that your comment is a bit insensitive towards the people who have lost someone so special. We are not talking about people being killed in general we are remembering the short life of EMILY DIAMOND and wishing her family and friends some comfort during this hard time.

I didn't know Emiy but my brother was in her year at Trinity so I often heard her name. My thoughts are with her family at this sad time. RIP EMILY you will never be forgotton xxx

It's hard to express the shock and sadness felt by the sudden passing of Emily. I worked with her at the Rat and Parrot, and she always had a funny answer to everything. It's so cliche but she was truly adored, and by the mass amount of tributes left for her, both here and on her Facebook site, I know she had touched so many lives and this makes it somewhat easier.

And yes, Emily was beautiful. But she was also witty, and kind, and unexpectedly wise. These are things I remember about Emily- her energy and vivacity- over her beauty.

My thoughts are with the family she so loved and cared for in this difficult time, but I am certain she is looking down feeling so chuffed about the outpouring of love for her and the support for her family.

Sleep tight Emily sweetie. See you one day soon xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I forgot to mention in my last post that we have started a memorial book for Emily at The Ivory Lounge, formerly the Rat and Parrot in Bexleyheath, where Emily once worked.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE feel free to pop in any time if you knew her, and write in the book, it would be greatly appreciated to help collate all the love for her.

Especially you Hannah. It would be wonderful to see you again. xxxxxxxxx
