A good parent is one that learns to trust their child’s judgement and allows them to spread their wings, that parent then stands back and allows the child to make mistakes and then does not judge them, but wraps their love around the child – kisses their heads and makes it all better again (after a good telling off). The child’s disappointment is the parent’s disappointment, but a thousand fold. Wrap your grief around your child, kiss their heads, tell them off and let them know you love them and do not judge them, then allow them to spread their wings again.

Not such a good parent does not learn to trust, does not allow the child to spread their wings and then stands in judgement of the child. A mother that knows what their child is doing 24 hours a day, does not mother the child, but smothers the child! (or lives in cloud cuckoo land)

May your children find eternal happiness, and may you, the families, one day smile again!

I am deeply shocked at such an accident so close to home. I have a 15 year old daughter and this has shaken me to the core as life is so, so precious. My deepest sympathies to the families and also to the bus driver. Life will not be the same for any of you. Also, to the two injured young people-I wish you both a speedy recovery. RIP

I do not know why I should need to post reminders so often on these pages, but can I remind everyone that this specific page is a condolence page for the three youngsters who died in the crash. It was set up especially for people to pay their respects away from the more general discussions taking place elsewhere. Any other sort of comments on this particular page will be removed. Thank you.

What a devastating and heartbreaking tragedy for these families to be forced to bear. Even the thought of losing a precious, beautiful and vibrant child in such a way, is I'm sure haunting many many parents with teenage sons and daughters at the moment. My heart goes out to the families and friends of Amy, Georgie and Joe, and hopes that you can gain a little comfort and strength from the support of all those that are thinking of you and your beautiful children right now. Wishing you strength to face the darkness of your terrible loss, and for all to remember that all of the young peope in the car on that morning had been doing what teenagers have always, and will always strive to be doing, having fun with their friends.

    God looked around his garden
    And saw an empty space.
He then looked down upon this earth
    And saw your smiling face.

    God's garden must be beautiful,
    He always takes the best.
For an unknown reason he took you
up to heaven, and shielded you with grace.

It broke our hearts to see you go,
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

My thoughts are with all 3 families. I know what it is like to have a loved one torn away from you like this. So tragic and so young.
I am truly sorry for your loss.

This message is for the heartbroken parents and families of the 3 beautiful children who lost their lives tragically on New Years day.
I am a parent who lost a child, all be it in different circumstances, and can I tell you honestly that time IS a great healer, the pain becomes less raw with each passing year and you will carry on day to day. My daughter passed 7 years ago this year and not a day passes that I don't think about her. Always remember love never dies. Keep strong and God bless those beautiful children. X X X

Although I never knew the children concerned or their families, I hope that I am not intruding? Sleep tight angels and forever watch over your families and friends until you all meet again. xxx

I drove past the scene today and was compelled to stop.

Not being from the area I did not know any of these poor souls or their families and friends.

They must have been truly special people.I was very moved by the immense tributes left to them, and I hope they can prove to be a comfort to the families.

    Rest In Peace
