Be ready for a great day, whether you want a childcare career or, as a parent of young children, you want help back into work - any work - or training.

The Civic Suite doors in Catford open at 10am on Wednesday (August 6) for Lewisham's 12th Childcare Jobs & Training Fair.

What's on offer:

• Childcare fair with exhibitors including nurseries, specialist training organisations, the Pre-school Learning Alliance and Lewisham's Children's Centres, Childcare & Play - plus the fostering services.

• Launch of Jobclubs for parents with children under five, with back to work benefit advisers and access to coaching, training advice and details of funding for training.

• Jobclub workshops on topics including confidence building, the benefits of volunteering, interview techniques and CV writing, budgeting and managing debts.

• Free crèche for attendees on Jobclub workshops.

• Raffle: A Freeplay DAB radio and torch.
