The 1921 (Lewisham) Squadron was out in strength last weekend raising money for the RAF Benevolent Fund and the Air Training Corps.
With the support of Waitrose in Bromley, the cadets were allowed to pack bags for customers over the whole weekend.
The money raised will help towards a trip the cadets are hoping to take to America in 2008.
Flt Lt Caroline Tracey, the squadron's commanding officer, said: "It was a lot of hard work and also a lot of fun! The staff at Waitrose couldn't have been better - they made the cadets feel so welcome, with the checkout staff helping as much as possible."
