Thamesmead's Free One Stop Shop


Thamesmead’s leading community development agency and registered charity, Trust Thamesmead has new service providers offering an array of free, confidential advice and guidance to Thamesmead residents, Monday-Friday in their reception area at 19a Joyce Dawson Way, Thamesmead Town Centre, SE28 8RA. Please note some sessions need to be booked in advance. T: 020 8320 4470.

Tuesday mornings, Help the Aged: Supporting over 60s with issues including benefits. Home visits possible

Tuesday mornings, Advocacy for Older People in Greenwich: Helping the over 55s who have difficulties speaking for themselves. Home visits possible

Wednesday all day, Resources Plus Helping: Bexley Thamesmead residents with job training and job searches

Thursday mornings, Thamesmead Law Centre: Housing advice and guidance

Thursday afternoons (3rd Thursday of month), HER Centre: Specialist training and confidence building for women

Friday all day, CDP Linx: Drug awareness programme for those aged 18+

Friday all day, GLLaB Information: advice and guidance to unemployed Greenwich Thamesmead residents

Trust Thamesmead also offers training and job searches, 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday through their Building Futures department, as well as two Ofsted registered pre-schools, an indoor climbing wall and a community development team who work with residents and community groups to build a brighter future in Thamesmead.

Trust Thamesmead is also leading the way with two new multi million pound projects in the shape of Sporting Club Thamesmead and a new community facility(currently titled the Youth Leisure Zone)which will be based under the flyover in Harrow Manor Way.
