Radiance Vein clinic run by local surgeons Eddie Chaloner and Aaron Sweeney have been recognised by Angiodynamics Ltd as the top providers of vein surgery in the UK. Mr Chaloner and Mr Sweeney operate at local hospitals such as Blackheath, the Sloane in beckenham and Chelsfield Park in Orpington as well as Lewisham NHS Trust and Benenden Hospital in Kent.
In 2003 we were the first surgeons in London and the South east to use the revolutionary endovenous laser (EVLT) to treat varicose veins - making surgery possible on a walk in - walk out basis under local anaesthetic, rather than by the outdated 'high tie and strip procedure. EVLT has now been recommended by NICE as the 'gold standard' for varicose veins treatment. Over the years our practice has continued to grow to the point where we are now the largest provider of vein surgery in the UK.
