Local people put the kettle on in support of Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice last week (12-18 May), hosting a whole range of Cuppa events.

The ‘Great Big Community Cuppa’ fundraising campaign, now in its second year, has been hailed such a success that Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice has decided to extend it until the end of May.

“It’s been amazing,” said community fundraiser, Megan Boyle: “With people from the whole community getting involved to host or attend a Cuppa event, including local schools, care homes and businesses including banks, builders, coffee shops and local police.”

With the Great Big Community Cuppa, the Hospice invites local people to host their own Cuppa events, selling tea, coffee and cakes in return for donations to the Hospice. So whether it’s a tea party at home or a coffee morning with colleagues in the office, there’s still time to put the kettle on in support of your local Hospice!
