Stamp Club

Mr S Henderson will be 'entertaining' on a philatelic theme at the District Stamp Club on March 26. The club meets at St Paul's URC Church, Singlewell Road at 7.45pm.

Cycle club

Gravesend Cycle Touring Club will be leaving Woodlands Park Gates, Wrotham Road Gravesend at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 18 for a local ride of approx 15 miles ending at the Gardeners Arms in Higham for about 9pm. Open Garden

Visitors to the garden at 'Meadow View', Hodsoll Street, on Sunday February 21, for a 'Snowdrop and hellebore Day' raised £400 for the Ellenor/Lions Hospice. Barbara and Brian would like to thank everyone that supported this event on a cold and wet day, and their team of helpers for their hard work.

Meopham Ladies Luncheon Club met on the 18th November at the Railway Inn, Sole Street, where the members enjoyed a 2 course meal of piping hot chicken and mushroom pie with seasonal vegetables and a delicous spotted dick and custard followed by coffee.
