Orpington grandmother cycling 400km across Cuba for Women vs Cancer

Donna Still, Orpington grandmother of three, has committed to raising £3,000.and cycling 400km across Cuba to raise funds for Women vs Cancer even though she hasn't been on a bike since she was 12!

Management consultant Donna said: "I have a milestone birthday next year and wanted to do something positive that would both give something back and help me achieve my healthy lifestyle goals.

"When I signed up I didn't even own a bicycle to train on! Luckily I've been fortunate to consult with a local bike shop who has provided the necessary training equipment. Now all I need is a professional training coach who can assist with fitness and keeping me on track with the training schedule."

To launch the fundraising activities Donna has arranged a rock 'n' roll night at the 7 Diner, Polhill on October 18.
