RUNNERS are being encouraged to take part in a 10k through central London in aid of Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice.
The charity has ten places available for the British 10k on July 8, which takes competitors past Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey.
There is a registration fee of £25 and a minimum sponsorship pledge of £150, with money raised going towards helping to provide free end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses and support for their families, friends and carers.
