A SPONSORED walk will raise money for a mum-of-two who died shortly after giving birth last year.
Around 400 people are expected to take part in the walk from Blackheath to Bermondsey on June 30 in memory of 25-year-old Holly Eldridge, who died last August.
Holly’s friend, mum-of-two Leyla Stadrettin, of Steynton Avenue in Bexley, will be completing the walk dressed as a fairy in high heels.
Money raised will go into a trust fund for Holly’s children aged two and one.
She said: “When she walked into a room, her smile would light it up. We want to give her children a nice adult life.”
Miss Stadrettin said she has already raised around £200 from businesses and parents at Hurst Primary School, in Dorchester Avenue.
To sponsor the walk, contact Leyla Stadrettin on Facebook or call 07779 664386.
