Mytime Active is delighted to announce that they have raised £2165 for Macmillan through a coffee morning across its golf and leisure centres UK wide.

On Friday 27 September, Mytime Active welcomed visitors to its facilities including the Pavilion Leisure Centre and the Bromley Tennis Centre for cakes and coffee to support Macmillan’s biggest annual fundraising event. Tchibo supported the event with coffee sold at a Mytime Active facility being donated to Macmillan.

Peter Simpkins, Sales Director at Tchibo said, “We are proud to have supported the Mytime Active coffee morning and are delighted in the money that has been raised which will go some way in helping change the lives of people affected by cancer.”

There are two million people living with cancer in the UK today and by 2030 this number will have doubled to four million. Macmillan provides practical, medical and financial support for those affected.

Judy Spence, Area Fundraising Manager for Macmillan said, “I would like to say a very big thank you to Mytime Active for getting involved in our World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and raising an amazing £2165! That is enough to fund a Macmillan nurse for over two weeks. Every penny raised on the day goes directly towards helping people affected by cancer and their families at a time when they most need it”.
