Dedicate a Candle of Hope - Dartford Relay for Life

RELAY FOR LIFE is coming to Dartford Central Park on Saturday 19th June,2010 start at Noon for 24 hours

Cancer survivors are VIP Guests of Honour and after the opening ceremony they walk the first lap of the track with friends and teams from the local community who have come together to celebrate their achievements

Survivors have their own special Reception with refreshments (Sponsored by Sainsbury's Crayford) and will be greated by Shirley Anne Field the '60s Model/Actress

Teams then walk the track and always have one member from each team walking for 24 hours as cancer never sleeps

As night falls, the participants gather to pay tribute to friends and loved ones by placing Candles of Hope around the track

This gives everyone the opportunity to remember those who have been lost to cancer and to celebrate those who have survived the dreadful disease
