The Orpington Photographic Society held their Monochrome Print and Slide Competition No 1 at their weekly Tuesday meeting at The Small Hall, Christ Church, Charterhouse Road, Orpington.
Judged by Clive Tanner, FRPS.
Top awards of the now standard 20 points went, in the monochrome competition, to "The Lookout" by Tony Gilkes and "Into The Darkness - Installation Tate Modern" by Mike Dancer; In Class 1 "One Amongst Many" by Jan Gilkes with the plus mark going to "Straight as an Arrow" by Mick Brown;
In the slide competition "What's the flipping hold-up now?" by new member Rob Miles (which also got the plus mark) and "To The Falls" by John Abrook FRPS.
