On November 27, the Orpington & District Caledonian Society held its popular St Andrew's dance at The Warren, Hayes, to celebrate the Scottish Patron.

Members were joined by members of local Scottish Dancing groups and guests from as far afield as Cambridge, Norwich and Herefordshire.

The music was provided by Robin Ellis and his Band.

The President, Elisabeth Leishman, MC for the first part of the evening, proposed a toast to St Andrew and cut the celebration cake, which was made by Deidre Wilden and iced by Sheila Brown.

After the sit-down buffet, the dancing continued until late.

The President brought the evening to a close by thanking everyone who had made the evening such a success, especially the convenor, Deidre Wilden, and the MC for the second part, David Cullens.
