On December 1, the very first Digital Imaging Competition No 1 was held by Orpington Photographic Society at its Tuesday evening meeting.
Judged by Glyn Bareham LRPS CPAGB, the high quality of entries was reflected in the number of top scores –10 scored 10!
They were: Rock and a Hard Place, Blue Windows by Peter Humphrey; Mountain Impressions, Viewing the Opera House by Jan Gilkes, LRPS; Eyeglass by Tracey Elvidge, Spirals within Spirals, Tight Turn by Mike Wood; Windbreaker by Paul Griffiths, Misty Waters by Peter Hibbs and Squirrel Monkeys by Ron Stubbings. The OPS meets regularly at 7.30pm every Tuesday at The Small Hall, Christ Church, Charterhouse Road, Orpington and welcomes newcomers.
