The Slide and Monochrome Print Competition No 1 at the regular Tuesday meeting’s of the Orpington Photographic Society was judged by Colin Brownett of St Mary’s Bay Camera Club.
In the slide competition there were two 10’s awarded to John Abrook’s “Frosted Hip” and Irene Palmer’s “Nature’s Textured Forms”.
In the monochrome print competition in Class 2 there was a 10 awarded to Peter Radford’s “Power Neighbours”; in Class 1 there were also two 10’s awarded to Paul Griffiths’ “Benchmark” and Ron Stubbings’ “South-west corner of Ightham Mote”.
Judge Colin Brownett commented on the high quality of prints in the monochrome competition.
The OPS meet regularly at 7.30pm every Tuesday at The Small Hall, Christ Church, Charterhouse Road, Orpington and welcome newcomers.
