For the first colour print competition of the season Orpington Photographic Society welcomed Michael Betts all the way from Battle Camera Club to judge.
The competition got off to a very good start with some exceptional entries in Beginners Class III – with the debut of Lisa Bristow getting a 10+.
In Intermediate Class II, Peter Radford’s Museum Staircase got a 10 and then to top the evening off, in the Class I three entries gained 10 and one of those 10+: David Grimwade LRPS with “Feeding Time” (10); Tony Seppings with “Like Him or Love Him?” (10) and Mick Brown’s “I said ‘That’s close enough!’ got a 10+.
The OPS meet regularly at 7.30pm every Tuesday at The Small Hall, Christ Church, Charterhouse Road, Orpington and welcome newcomers.
