Our next meeting, Thursday 9th October, has an excellent speaker Chantal Cooke of Passion for the Planet with a very appropriate talk in these tough economic times on How to get free publicity on TV, on Radio and in Print. The meeting will take place at our regular venue of the Bromley Court Hotel, doors open at 7.30pm.

LAST MONTH, Ray Jeal, a member of the Ascension Study Circle, gave members a highly entertaining and knowledgeable display covering the history and postage stamps of Ascension, an island in the middle of the Atlantic, barely a quarter of the size of the Isle of Wight.
