ORPINGTON Tackle & Bait on Crescent Way held a Charity Fishing Competition at Hawkhurst Fish Farm in Hawkhurst, Kent on 25 August.
Fishermen competed for trophies based on the total weight of fish caught within five-hours to raise £266 for Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice in Abbey Wood, South-East London.
The winner was match organiser Peter Bolt. In 2nd Larry Lampton, 3rd Martin Miller and in 4th, Kevin Bradshaw.
Peter, who owns the Orpington tackle shop, organises the annual Lenny Bolt Cup charity fishing competition in memory of his Dad, Leonard George Bolt.
“My dad was a keen fisherman, he taught me how to fish, and this competition was in honour of his name,” he said.
“It means a lot to have won.”
