It’s a time of good news for Bromley youth charity JusB as they celebrate 10 years this year.
There have been lots of activities to mark the milestone and this month the charity held a celebration event, showcasing the musical work of four young people and hearing from four others the difference that JusB had made to their lives.
Founding trustee and youth work specialist David Lemmon talked about JusB being a ‘second home’ to many young people.
The mayor and mayoress-elect, Councillor Ernest and Diane Noad, attended.
The mayor spoke, highlighting the quote: "If it’s to be, it’s up to me".
A representative of a local school spoke enthusiastically about the transformation that she had seen in the pupils that JusB had been working with.
The night was rounded off with celebration CDs with 10 original tracks and discounted tickets for a local theatre. Plus, of course, a JusB celebration cake!
