The winner of The T Factor 2009, Becky Downes, recently received her second winner’s prize, which consisted of time in a recording studio.
Spending two days at Abbey Music Studios in Abbey Wood, Becky managed to record seven tracks, five of which are available to hear on her myspace site: www.myspace.com/beckydownes Becky said: “My two days at Abbey Music Studios were amazing. It’s the best thing I have ever done.”
The T Factor organiser and Marketing and Communications Officer for Trust Thamesmead, Julia Hickson said: “Becky has a phenomenal voice. She will be contacting record companies in the near future; I am sure someone will recognise her talent and snap her up.”
Twenty year old Thamesmead resident, Becky, also appeared on stage as The T Factor winner, supporting the head line act at this year’s Trust Thamesmead Summer Festival in July after being introduced onstage by The X Factor constant Laura White.
