Thamesmead's newest sport and leisure facility, Sporting Club Thamesmead will be opening their doors this Saturday, 24 August, during their official launch event; a FREE* Family Fun Day.
Taking place 10:00am-4:00pm it will be a day of fun for everyone with an inflatable village, face painting, stilt walkers, demos, BBQ and more.
It will also give visitors the chance to take a look around this brand new, state-of-the-art facility that both Thamesmead Town Football Club and Charlton Athletic Women's Football Club call home and which offers activities, opportunities and spaces for hire, including grass and 4G pitches, an outdoor multi-use games area, indoor multi-use room and function rooms with bars.
*The only thing not free are purchases from the bar.
