A Sidcup family held a tea and cake party in their garden.

Mr and Mrs Needham hosted the event to raise funds and awareness of Rett Syndrome. Their daughter in law's 2 year old niece Lily was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome just before Christmas.

The whole family has been involved in raising funds for research. Visitors enjoyed tea and cakes served on the lawn, a bouncy castle and a raffle which raised £1,423. The cakes and refreshments were provided by Morrisons Sidcup and the main raffle prize of a Fortnum & Masons Hamper was donated by Woolsey Morris & Kennedy in Sidcup.

Lily's parents, Colin and Kerry Hall, said they were overwhelmed by the support they had received since Lily's diagnosis and would like to thank everyone for their support and for the generosity of everyone who attended the garden party.
