A new self-help support group has launched in Sidcup for adults suffering communication problems caused by damage, injury or trauma to the brain, whether that be as the result of a stroke or brain haemorrhage.

Supported by the national charity Speakability, Oxleas NHS Trust have kindly provided the use of their committee room next to main reception in Block B at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.

The group will be run by volunteers entirely independently from the hospital every other Thursday from 10am until 12.30pm.

For more details, contact the Speakability helpline on 080 8808 9572.
