DURING the June meetings we had two excellent speakers.
Mrs C Harris spoke about Women in World W II at the Guild Meeting.
Her talk was interesting and recalled many memories to the ladies.
Social Studies Section - Our speaker was Larry Barnes, his talk was “we who are about to die”. Mr Barnes arrived dressed in his pearly costume, he spoke about parts he had played on stage and films. A very good speaker, lots of interesting anecdotes and plenty of humour.
Arts & Crafts Section - Met as usual and had a pleasant afternoon.
