Bexley residents are being invited to don Santa suits and run, walk or jog 5km to raise money for their local Hospice.

Taking place on Sunday 1st December  at 10am, Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice’s second annual Santa Dash will see Danson Park packed with Santas, all raising money to help look after patients and their families in the local area living with life-limiting illnesses.

“The event is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, who are encouraged to walk, run or jog the 5km route,” said community fundraiser, Megan Boyle. “There is no minimum sponsorship, but we are hoping that fundraisers will get into the spirit of things and raise as much as they can towards our special work. Last year the event was a great success and we’re hoping to fill the park this year with a sea of red Santas, all in the festive spirit!”

Pre-event registration costs £10 for adults, £5 for children (5-15 years) or £25 for a family ticket. On the day registration costs £20 for adults, £10 for children (5-15 years).

The registration fee includes a Santa suit and each child will receive a commemorative medal.
