U3A

The U3A Club is a national organisation for retired and semi-retired people. It offers the opportunity to share knowledge, experience and talents with others and learn from them in friendly surroundings. The national web address is www.u3a.org.uk where you can find more details of the organisation and where there is a link to the Gravesend and Northfleet Group section.
They meet on the second Friday of each month, 2-4pm at Shears Green Community Centre, Westcott Avenue. The meetings are open to both members and visitors. There is a small charge of £1 per meeting. For membership details please contact the membership secretary Mrs Jean Hunt on 01474 356212.
