Rotary Club of Orpington

THE Rotary Club of Orpington, in association with the Orchestra of the Thames Gateway, held a concert of popular classical music at the Crofton Halls on June 27.

A raffle was held and proceeds of more than £500 from the event will go to local charities.

The orchestra was conducted by Sarah Freestone and arranged by Julius Bannister.

The Rotary Club of Orpington meets every Wednesday from 7.30pm at the Chelsfield Lakes Golf Club, Court Road, Orpington.

It has a full programme of talks and events throughout the year and supports numerous charities. New members are welcome.
