A team of volunteers are being sought by Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice.

Roles include Hospice Neighbour volunteers to help people with everyday tasks in the home and to provide some respite and support to their carers. Volunteers are also needed to help people with life-limiting illness to plan ahead and discuss what is important to them about their future care.

An information meeting and training session will be held on November 12th at Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, 185 Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood, London SE2 0GB. There will be subsequent training sessions throughout the month and in to December.

All volunteers will undergo a comprehensive training package and will benefit from working as part of a team, obtain new skills and gain a sense of achievement helping carers, patients and their families get on with their lives.
