Runners looking to take part in next year's Virgin Money London Marathon are being sought by a hospice charity.
Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice in Abbey Wood, South-East London, is looking for a team of runners to run for them, next April.
This year runners representing the charity raised an amazing £39,000.
All applications for the sought-after places will be entered into the Hospice ballot and all successful applicants will be contacted once the public ballot has been announced, in October 2014.
The Hospice would also like to hear from runners who have secured a place through the public ballot and would like to raise money for them.
Jane Borrett Fundraising Coordinator at the Hospice said: “Running for your local hospice can make your marathon experience even more rewarding and you’re guaranteed to meet loads of great new people along the way.
“Our aim is to help all our runners be as well prepared as possible on marathon day and to have an enjoyable run.
The world famous Virgin Money London Marathon will be held on Sunday, 26th April 2015. It passes many of London's most famous historic landmarks, and is run on some of the most famous street names in the world.
