'Boys and girls' at a Greenwich Primary were asked to 'turn it up' last week when they were surprised with an appearance from chart-topper, Pixie Lott.
The 'Mama Do' singer performed for children at Christ Church C of E Primary School, in Commerell Street, Greenwich on July 16.
The 23-year-old singer-songwriter is the niece of teaching assistant at the school, Vicky Bennett, and agreed to sing and answer questions at the seven-class school before rushing off to film a TV show.
Deputy headteacher Amanda Wilson said: “It’s the first time we’ve had someone as big as her. It was the icing on the cake at the end of a great year because we have had fantastic SATs results this year.”
