Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice has four charity places available for the 2014 Nightrider event - a cycling challenge taking place in London on the weekend of the 7th – 8th June.

The 100km moonlit bike ride will tour the capital's most famous landmarks, including Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Circus, Canary Wharf, London Eye and St Paul’s Cathedral.

It all starts at Crystal Palace from 10.30pm and from 11pm at Alexandra Palace on Saturday 7th June and is expected to finish by 10am on Sunday 8th June. Around 4,000 cyclists are expected to take part.

The event raises money for over 100 charities but if you apply through Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice you will be raising money for Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, a charity that provides free specialist end of life care for people with life limiting illnesses, as well as providing support for their families, friends and carers.

There will be a break stop roughly every 20km and snacks, water and toilets will be provided. There will also be a mechanic and a first aider based at each stop and all participants will receive a Nightrider medal and a well-earned breakfast at the end.

Minimum sponsorship will apply, contact the Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice fundraising team on 020 8319 9230 for full fundraising support or on email info@gbch.org.uk.
